AMCC Device Driver for Windows and Linux
The Sheldon Instruments SI-DDK-AMCC is a development package with projects and related source code used to create applications and drivers for all 32/64 bit Windows and Linux versions for AMCC’s family of PCI Matchmaker ICs.
Drivers Accident Reporting Form
Amcc 3ware 9550sx/9590se sata raid controller driver is a windows driver. Raid controller on the cd that came with your controller. Amcc s 3ware 9650se sata ii hardware raid controllers deliver industry-leading raid 6 and raid 5 performance, robust fault tolerance, and multi-terabyte capacities. If your system is not running Windows 7 or 10, or for drivers/software for other AMD products such as AMD embedded graphics, chipsets, etc. Please select your product from the menus below. Report Issues with the Latest Driver Release. To check your drivers you should manually verify every device on your system for driver updates. AMCC 3ware 9500S SATA RAID Controller. The AMCC 3ware 9500S SATA RAID Controller comes with LED.
The applications and drivers are written so as to access general PCI devices, with full support for AMCC’s family of PCI Matchmakers as a Memory Mapped peripheral. The common API for all operating systems facilitates minimal cross platform development time, and may also be used as a model of how to write applications and device drivers for Windows and Linux, saving you precious time while giving you actual and comprehensive control of your software development.
Windows vs. Linux
The SI-DDK-AMCC-WIN is used to create WDF drivers (SYS files) using the Windows Driver Foundation, thus making it possible for a single application to run under all Windows 32/64 bit versions. For convenience, compiled and ‘ready to go’ drivers and application example binaries are already included. In the case you want to build the binaries from the source code, you will need the WinXP/Vista/7/8 DDK, along with the associated Microsoft development environments.
The SI-DDK-AMCC-LNX is GPL compliant source code used to create Linux applications and drivers (files in the form of modules), using the integrated C/C++ development environment included with all Linux versions.
Function Support
- Memory mapped access (I/O space not supported, but step-by-step guidelines included for easy adaptation).
- PCI initiated bus mastered reads and writes (5933/35 and 5335 only), including asynchronous/overlapped transfers using a scatter-gather implementation.
- Event based application Call-Back routines.
- Handling of the PC interrupts on transfer complete and register read/written.
- Access to the 59xx/53xx’s FIFO, mail boxes, and status registers.
- Access to the 59xx/53xx’s configuration space memory and all pass-through regions.
- Multiple board support, limited only by available slots on system motherboard/backplane.
- Ability to read and write the configuration serial EEPROM.
- Common API for both Windows and Linux 32/64 bit environments.
